Sabah is a region located in the northern island of Borneo. North Borneo or Sabah is part of the territory of the Sultanate of Brunei and Sulu before submission to NBCC.
Superpower like the Sultan of Brunei and Sulu Sultanate is in conformity with British sovereignty on its territory by treaties that have been signed by the Sultan of Brunei and Sulu to the British until they lost power in Sarawak and Sabah.
North Borneo Or Sabah was a British Protectorate under the sovereign North Borneo Chartered Company From 1882 to 1946.
